The Lake Hume Cycle Challenge is a multi-distance participation cycling event starting and finishing at Ebden Reserve.
Discover the beauty of North East Victoria's landscape through a series of four captivating rides showcased at this upcoming event. Cyclists will be treated to stunning vistas of Lake Hume's pristine waters while soaking up the warm community atmosphere, thanks to the dedicated volunteers.
For riders of all skill levels, this event is a must-attend. With routes spanning from a leisurely 15 kilometres to a challenging 114 kilometres, there's something for everyone, and the terrain ranges from flat to highly demanding.
New for 2024 is the Lake Hume Hustle, a 114-kilometre route with an elevation gain of 1816 metres that promises to be a thrilling addition to the event. This ride is expected to generate considerable excitement among participants.
The routes take riders through scenic country roads and the High Country Rail Trail, and with Lake Hume brimming, expect several exhilarating water crossings via bridges and causeways.
All proceeds raised will be directed toward the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre, making your participation a meaningful contribution to a great cause.
