Amy’s Gran Fondo is a world-class participation-based cycling event held on closed roads along one of the world's most spectacular stretches of road - the Great Ocean Road!
Amy's Gran Fondo offers a rare opportunity to cycle the Great Ocean Road under controlled conditions with thousands of fellow cyclists.
With more than 5,000 riders rolling up to the start line, the event has established itself as one of the most popular mass participation rides in Australia, offering a distance for everyone – 130km Wiggle Amy’s Gran Fondo, 60km Surf Coast Shire Amy's Gravel Fond, the 45km TAC Medio Fondo and the 14km TAC Family Fondo.
Spanning the full weekend, the festivities kick off on the Saturday with the Amy’s Otway Tour Criterium in the main street of Lorne in the afternoon, followed by the Amy’s Wall hill-climb in the evening.
The Amy Gillett Foundation is a charity with one purpose – reducing the incidence of death and injury to bike riders. The AGF honours the life and legacy of Amy Gillett who was killed by a driver whilst living her dream as an elite-level cyclist.
